ORIENT EXPRESS RACING TEAM

The father and son team of Ortwin and Stefan Kandler launched K-Challenge to compete for the 2007 America's Cup in Valencia, and sailed as Areva Challenge. For 2024, the team has take the name of title sponsor Orient Express - a part of the Accor hotel and hospitality company. Orient Express Silenseas plans to launch in 2026 the world's largest sailing ship, a 220 meter long luxury vessel. For the 2024 America's Cup, Orient Express Racing Team will base their AC75 on a design purchased from Emirates Team New Zealand.
